Sadly enough however, its our own "leaders" in Congress and Commander in Chief who are responsible for putting LT Patano into the ground. This story should outrage you. Write your congressman, demanding that these charges be dropped and damages be awarded to this young hero... retribution for the permanent damage our government has done to this man's reputation.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, we gave the girls their "valentines" tonight and they took their turns tearing into the candy. The girls are so funny now. They are all three coming into their own her recently. I am really looking forward to a great summer. We finally had to break down and buy a van, so we can finally all go places together in one car. :)

On this, the 6th anniversary of your death, your smile is imprinted on my mind. It seems like yesterday, only the three of us, making our way in DC. Times were very different then. I felt so young, not aged so much by the unfairness of the world, and the sadness of losing a child. Over the years, that darkness gets light again, and that awful void is once again saturated with life's little surprises. We are a much bigger family now, and your mom and I are no longer in control of anything. Your sister Haley has become such a little princess, and she is growing up so fast. I am convinced that the twins are your little gift to daddy. I have changed alot since you have been gone. I get the feeling that the older the girls get, the more trouble that I am going to be in...:) I miss you Hannah... watch over us....Daddy
